The Story Behind Mirthful Maintenance
Mirthful Maintenance was born from a simple but powerful question I asked myself: Where do I want to be in 20 years?

The answer surprised even me—I realized I didn’t want to spend the rest of my life as a head custodian. For nearly nine years, I’ve worked hard in that role, starting at an elementary school and now serving at a high school. I love what I do, but I know I want more for my future. I want to see the world, meet new people, and grow beyond the walls of one building.

To achieve that, I decided it was time for change. My goal with Mirthful Maintenance is to provide honest, reliable service that not only helps others but also allows me to meet people, explore new places, and put my skills to work in a meaningful way. I enjoy working with my hands—turning “something out of nothing”—and I realized the experience I’ve gained over the years can help me build a business that reflects who I am and where I want to go.

The name Mirthful means joyous, cheerful, jolly, and merry—all words people often use to describe me. It felt right to carry that spirit into my business.
Founded in 2024, Mirthful Maintenance is more than just a handyman service—it’s the start of a new chapter. I’m excited for this journey, and I hope you’ll join me along the way!
